Our Responsible Gaming Tools

588bet provides a range of practical tools to help you maintain a safe and healthy gaming experience. These tools are entirely voluntary and can be used at any time.

Setting a Deposit Limit

You can set your own maximum deposit limit on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Limits take effect immediately once set, keeping your budget protected.

Session Time Limit

You can set a time limit for each gaming session. Once the limit is reached, the system will automatically alert you or end the session.

Cooling-Off Period

If you need a short break, you can activate a cooling-off period ranging from 24 hours to 30 days. No bets or deposits can be placed during this time.

Self-Exclusion

If you feel you are losing control of your gaming, you can apply to have your account closed for anywhere from 6 months to permanently. This is the most serious protective measure available.

Loss Limit

Set a cap in advance on how much you're willing to lose over a given period. Once that limit is reached, the system will automatically stop you.

Gaming History Review

Your full gaming history, deposit and withdrawal records, and win/loss statistics are available to review at any time. Stay informed and know where you stand.

What Does Responsible Gaming Mean?

Responsible gaming means treating gaming purely as a form of entertainment — not as a source of income or a way to relieve stress. 588bet believes every player should understand their own situation and play within their means.

The core idea of responsible gaming is simple: you control the game, not the other way around. When you play, how long you play, and how much you bet — those decisions should always be yours. 588bet firmly believes in this principle and is committed to making it a reality.

Online betting or playing slots becomes a problem when it starts affecting what matters most — your family, work, health, or financial stability. That's the moment to take notice.

Keep in mind

Winning is never guaranteed in gaming. Every outcome is entirely random, and no strategy or method can change that. Only bet what you can afford to lose without it affecting your daily life.

2

Why Is Responsible Gaming Important?

Online gaming is growing rapidly in popularity across Bangladesh. Many people start for entertainment, but gradually lose control. Research shows that excessive gaming can lead to stress, family problems, and financial difficulties.

588bet wants you to enjoy gaming for the long haul, which is why responsible gaming has been at the heart of our platform from day one. Our goal goes beyond profit — we care about the well-being and happiness of every user.

  • Sticking to gaming limits is essential for protecting your mental health
  • Keeping gaming in check is essential to maintaining healthy family relationships
  • You can enjoy gaming without compromising your financial stability
  • Practicing responsible gaming keeps you happier in the long run
  • Early awareness helps prevent addiction
The 588bet Commitment

We never encourage you to play more or bet more. Every promotion and offer at 588bet is designed in line with our responsible gaming principles.

Signs of problematic gaming

Sometimes we don't realize when gaming has shifted from entertainment to a problem. Watch out for these warning signs and take action if needed:

Chasing Losses

Feeling the urge to place more bets after a loss in order to win back the money — this is the most dangerous warning sign.

Hiding Your Gaming

A tendency to hide gaming activity and spending from family or friends.

Neglecting Daily Responsibilities

Neglecting work, studies, or family responsibilities because of gaming.

Spending money you need for essentials

Spending money meant for rent, food, or your children's education on gaming.

Restlessness when unable to play

Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when you're unable to game.

If you notice even one of the signs above, don't wait — contact 588bet's support team or activate the self-exclusion feature right away.

How to game safely and responsibly

Responsible gaming doesn't have to be complicated. A few simple habits are all it takes to enjoy gaming while avoiding the downsides:

1
Set your budget in advance

Before you start, decide how much you can afford to spend. Once you hit that limit, stop gaming for the day.

2
Set a time limit

Set a fixed time each day for gaming. Use a clock or alarm to make sure you don't go over.

3
Don't Play on Impulse

Avoid gaming when you are angry, sad, or stressed. Decisions made under emotional pressure are always harmful.

4
Take regular breaks

Take at least a 10-minute break every hour. Get up, drink some water, and stretch your legs.

5
Don't Treat Winnings as Income

Treating winnings as a regular source of income is a dangerous mindset. Gaming is entertainment, not a business.

6
Talk to someone you trust

Talk openly about gaming with a family member or trusted friend. Keeping it to yourself increases the risk of addiction.

5

How to Use 588bet's Safety Tools

Once logged in to 588bet, you can access all responsible gaming tools directly through your account settings. The process is straightforward and fully self-managed.

Instant
Deposit Limit

Go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Deposit Limits and set your daily, weekly, or monthly limit.

Flexible
Time Limit

Go to the Session Time Limit option and set your preferred gaming duration. The system will automatically notify you when the time is up.

Temporary
Cooling-Off

Choose the cooling-off option for a short-term break. You can select any period from 1 day up to 30 days.

Permanent
Self-Exclusion

To close your account for an extended or permanent period, choose the self-exclusion option. It takes effect immediately once activated.

Important Information

Once self-exclusion is activated, it cannot be reversed before the selected period ends. This is by design, to ensure you receive genuine protection.

6

Family support and involvement

Family plays a vital role in responsible gaming. If a family member is gaming excessively or running into trouble, being there to support them makes a real difference.

  • Speak with empathy rather than judgment when addressing a family member's gaming habits
  • Don't leave them alone — work through it together
  • Encourage them to seek professional help when needed
  • Keep finances and the family budget transparent
  • Monitor your children's device usage and have open conversations about gaming
Keep your family informed

If you enjoy gaming, let a trusted family member know. It creates accountability and makes it easier to stay in control.

7

Minor Protection Policy

588bet strictly prohibits anyone under 18 from accessing the platform. Age is verified at registration, and identity documents must be submitted during the KYC process to confirm eligibility.

  • Date of birth is verified at the time of registration
  • KYC documents are requested for suspicious accounts
  • Accounts identified as belonging to a minor are closed immediately
  • Funds deposited by a minor are refunded

If you believe a minor you know is using 588bet, please notify our support team immediately. We will act quickly — there is no compromise on this.

Advice for parents: keep your devices, passwords, and mobile banking details out of your children's reach. Use parental control software.
